Potrerillos Foundry

After a successful experience at Foundry Chagres, the solution was replicated at Foundry Potrerillos. The scope of the project was for the design and supply of the solid-liquid separation system through sedimentation with Parkson Corp. Lamella® clarifier equipment and dehydration system, for the solids separated in the clarification process.

The water with solids to be treated comes from a quench-type tower, used for the process of cleaning and cooling the gases of Codelco's Potrerillos smelter.

The scope of this project covers engineering, equipment supply and assembly supervision and commissioning supervision.
